How do I make reservations?
Please register online. Do not call the hotel. Because these are group reservations, a different department manages the master account. Therefore, the reservation desk will not be able to assist you.
 

What is included in the conference packages? 
Package A: $945 Includes two (2) nights (Sunday and Monday night) at the Hotel del Coronado, conference registration, meals and all conference activities

Package B: $645 Includes conference registration, meals and all conference activities. (Lodging not included). 

What meals are included?
New World will provide a continental breakfast and a lunch both Monday and Tuesday. Dinner will be provided Sunday night at the Meet and Greet Welcome dinner and Monday evening Peer 2 Peer Networking event.

Are there other options for meals outside of the hotel?
There are a variety of small shops and cafes outside of the hotel in short walking distance to choose from. We will include in our conference communications a description of close, cost effective options for our conference attendees.

How do I book extra nights at the hotel? 
Significantly discounted additional nights are limited and available on a first come, first served basis at our specially negotiated group rate.

When filling out the 2010 Conference Registration form online, please fill in arrival and departure dates. New World will make all room reservations. Group rates are approximately $100 off the normal rate.


How much does an extra night at the hotel cost? 
An additional night’s stay at the Hotel del Coronado is $225.00 plus 8.75% tax. Customers are responsible for the cost of all extra nights. This is a savings of about $100 off the normal daily rate.

How do we pay for the conference?

An invoice will be sent to the billing contact at your agency. We do not accept credit cards or online payments. Additional night's stay will be billed separately by the hotel upon checkout.

What is the charge for parking at the hotel? 
New World has arranged for free self-parking for our group over the conference dates of May 16 - 18, 2010.

What are the transportation options to and from the airport? (15-20 minutes away)

What is the dress code for the conference?
We recommend that you wear layers. Due to the temperature variations from room to room and outdoors, you may find wearing layers the easiest way to adjust to a temperature that you would be comfortable in. There are no dress code requirements for our attendees.

What is the dress code for the conference events?
There are no events at this year’s conference that require a dress code. We look forward to seeing everyone comfortable and looking their best.

What is the cancellation or substitution policy? 
All cancellations must be made in writing. A credit will be applied if notified before April 9, 2010. Cancellations made after April 9, 2010, will be subject to a $200 administrative fee. Substitutions for a registered attendee may be made by another employee by notifying Ruth Ann Hines and the submission of a new registration form.

Can my spouse or guest attend? 
Yes and there is no additional cost. Please include your guest's name on the registration form and make note that he/she will not be attending the conference. We require names for name badges that are issued for entry to New World events/dining.  All guests must be 21 years or older to attend any New World Systems event.

What will the weather be like? 
Average Temperature for San Diego, CA in May: High 65°F / Low 53°F


How much free time will we have?

Due to overwhelming requests from Conference Attendees and success from last year’s conference schedule, we have included more sessions on Sunday afternoon and Tuesday morning. Your free time is based on what sessions you want to attend.


Will there be any Hands-on Educational LAB sessions? 
This year New World is offering more educational hands-on lab sessions. The labs will cover Mobile, Fire, GIS, Technology and Corrections. How much one-on-one consultation will we receive? 
You will be able to schedule a one-on-one consultation with a New World representative starting Sunday afternoon until the end of the day Tuesday. How close is the resort to Downtown San Diego? 
Hotel del Coronado is approximately 10 minutes away from downtown San Diego and attractions. Please contact Hotel del Coronado for information regarding attractions and transportation for events outside of the conference activities.

What if I'm an advisory group member? 
If you are an advisory group member participating in the meeting Tuesday afternoon or Wednesday morning, please plan your stay accordingly. For further information regarding advisory groups please contact:

New World is pleased to announce that in response to many of your requests, we are sponsoring a Sunday morning golf outing prior to the start of this year’s Executive Customer Conference for the enjoyment of all those who wish to come out to the conference early and enjoy a round of golf. Please note that this is not an official part of the conference, but for those of you who are arriving early and would like to play, we would love to have you join us for this event.
