Town of Butner, N.C. selects New World Systems Public Administration solutions

The newly incorporated Town of Butner, N.C. has selected advanced technology and ERP solutions from an industry leader and proven Local Government partner. The Town has signed a contract to license New World Systems’ integrated Logos.NET® Public Administration suite of applications to improve efficiency and streamline financial operations. New World’s solutions will help the Town better manage community development, improve access to information and allow payroll processing to be completed in-house for the first time in three years.
Designed to help local governments do more with less, New World’s solutions with built-in electronic workflow, innovative web-based functionality and integration with everyday Microsoft applications will help the Town better manage financial information and easily accomplish more work in less time.

New World already offers the advanced functionality that the other companies are only beginning to develop now.”
New World is providing the Town of Butner with Logos.NET Financial Management, Payroll and Human Resources, and Community Development software, developed in-house using proven Microsoft.NET™ technology, industry-standard Windows® Server and SQL® Server. The completely integrated web-based applications will improve reporting and provide anytime, anywhere access to information for Town employees and managers. Integrated GIS and mapping capabilities will help the Town better plan and manage zoning, licensing and area growth. The solutions will also help the town cut costs in the future by eliminating the need to outsource payroll processing. Overall, Butner officials are looking forward to using New World’s software to save time and simplify processes for the Town’s lean staff.
