Clinton County, Pa. selects new solution to empower employees with access to more information

Clinton County, Pa. will soon implement a new financial management solution that will increase efficiency, automate business processes and provide employees with more access to information. The County has signed a contract to license New World Systems’ integrated Logos.NET® Public Administration suite of applications on the Microsoft.NET™ platform. The new solution will provide an extremely intuitive user experience for County employees and accommodate decentralized department access, fast reporting and paperless business processes.
 
“We needed a more intuitive solution that would allow us to perform more budget analysis, improve distribution of workload between departments and empower employees with self-service options online,” said Amy Dicello, Chief Clerk for Clinton County. “New World’s software has the functionality and easy-to-use solution we were looking for to make us more efficient.”
 
The County conducted an extremely thorough evaluation of solutions before selecting New World’s Logos.NET Financial Management, Payroll and Human Resources and eSuite software developed in-house using proven Microsoft.NET™ technology, industry-standard Windows® Server and SQL® Server. In addition to preferring New World’s easy-to-use solutions, Clinton County’s previous experience with New World’s service and support teams added a high level of confidence and led to their decision to select the Company.
 
“Our County has used New World’s Aegis® Public Safety software solution for more than 15 years,” said Suzy Watson, IT Director. “We have developed a real comfort level with the Company and their support organization. We always receive excellent support and know that New World is, and will continue to be, there for us when we need them.”
 
New World’s completely integrated Financial Management and Payroll and Human Resources solutions will provide decentralized access to information for County departments and ensure that data entered into one application is available for fast inquiry and easy reporting throughout the system. Advanced workflow will also streamline budgeting and purchasing processes for the County by reducing paperwork and ensuring proper policies and procedures are followed.
 
The County is looking forward to freeing up time and reducing internal requests by providing employees with secure online access to personal information, benefits, timesheets and more, using New World’s eSuite software. By streamlining processes and extending web solutions to their employees, Clinton County will dramatically improve service and create a “self-serve” tool that will be accessible anytime, day or night.
