1981

• Company founded
• First software package introduced: Logos® Public Administration software including the general ledger and accounts payable modules

1983

• Became Business Partner with IBM® and provided software solutions for the System 38, AS/400®, and later the iSeries 400 server

1984

• Second software package introduced: Aegis® Public Safety

1985

• Public Sector software for local governments became New World Systems only business

1989

• Customers in 15 states throughout the U.S

1992

• First Message Switch developed for New World’s Hermes™ Mobile Computing software – fastest growing product line

• Developed Aegis Public Safety software on the Windows NT/2000 platform
  
  

1998

• Formed separate Aegis & Logos operating divisions to focus on key markets
  
  

2000

• 500+ Customers/1200 agencies represented from nearly 50 states and several Customers outside of the United States
• Sell, install and maintain over 200 public sector software modules

2001

• Commemorated 20 years in business
• Microsoft® Certified Partner
• Developed Aegis Handheld Mobile to meet current public safety needs
• Developed Aegis Regional Data Sharing software, allowing agencies to share information
• Re-designed Windows 2000 Aegis/MSP public safety software

2002

• Developed Logos/MSP on the Windows 2000 platform
• Employ approximately 260 people
• Developed a stable Aegis Field Reporting solution to keep officers in the field
• Developed Aegis AVL to increase safety for officers in the field

2003

• Developed a full suite of browser-based Logos.NET™ on the Microsoft .Net® platform for local government, creating and anytime-anywhere eGov solution
• Implemented first Wireless E911 Phase II solution at the Downey, CA Police Department

2005

• Developed Aegis Justice Link (Justice Information Sharing) using Global Justice XML
• 600 active customers/1,200 agencies
• Employ approximately 300 people

2006

• Celebration of 25 years dedicated to public sector software
• Employ 325+ people
